Shakti Sundari

Shakti Sundari is a love coach, writer, trailblazing wise woman and skilful curator of embodied awakening with a mission to bring more love, awareness and unity to life through the teaching and embodiment of tantric principles.

Following an early career in international business, then graduate studies in gender and conflict, Shakti made a radical life-path switch in her late 30s to train as a conscious dance facilitator. This opened up the way for what has been her personal and professional focus for the past 22 years: awakening and communion through the body.

Whether in love, sex and relating or the ecstatic practices of dance, yoga, bodywork, meditation and tantra, her fascination lies where polarities meet: masculine and feminine, sex and spirit, body and mind, dark and light, self and God. And she has consistently pursued this passion through ongoing study, daily practice and years of teaching.

Since this is the journey she needed to take herself, much of Shakti's work over the past two decades has centred upon supporting women in the reclamation of their sensual aliveness and sovereignty. A potent creatrix and initatrix, Shakti has birthed her own Dancing the Goddess and intuitive yoga practices, along with multiple courses to elevate the feminine.

She published her book "RAPTURE: A Guide to Sexual & Spiritual Awakening for Women" in 2021.

Besides her intimate, inspiring blogs, Shakti loves to elicit and share transformational wisdom through her Heart to Heart interviews with conscious thought-leaders.

In 2025, she launched the Conscious Dating Collective, along with a new blog series on dating, bringing both her personal experience and rich insight to bear upon this theme that touches us all.

In tandem with her journey from karma to dharma, Shakti has been a mother: co-parenting two beautiful children (one male, one female), who are now incredible young adults. She has also midwifed both parents through their dying years. Shakti has learned, healed and received as much from the path of conscious motherhood and the graceful presencing of death, as from her more obvious spiritual practices. 

Deep and light, elevated and grounded, compassionate and fierce, Shakti herself is the living integration of so many of the polarities, conditioning tells us cannot be wed. Her wisdom and mastery arise from decades of devotional practice and ongoing enquiry into self-realisation in the every-day. Her vibrant presence, radiant heart and clear perception are an illuminating gift.
